Cruise Shipping Miami Survey Results
Cruise Shipping Miami recently launched the annual comprehensive survey aimed at all registered attendees at the event.
Results were positive and indicate a strong performance of the event as well as a good return on investment for both the attendee and exhibitor.
The Results Are In!
- At 2009 Cruise Shipping Miami, the convention once again attracted a high-quality group of attendees who recommend, specify or make the final decision in the purchase of products and services. This net buying influence accounted for 88% of this group of which 38% approve purchases.
- On an annual basis, 48% of the attendees have a purchasing power of 0-$100,00; 25% fall in the range of $100,000-$500,000; 13% fall between $500,00-$5m; and 18% fall in the greater than $5m range.
- Of those surveyed, 46% sourced Ship Equipment; 44% sourced Ship Services/Hotel Operations; 56% sourced Destinations; 25% sourced Food & Beverage; 27% sourced Design; 30% sourced Information and Entertainment Technology. (Some attendees sourced more than one product range.)
- 87% of those surveyed did find the products and services they were looking for at Cruise Shipping Miami 2009. Of these, 31% will purchase in the 1-3 month range; 33% will purchase in the 3-6 month range; and the balance will purchase within a year or more.
- 89% of those surveyed planned to attend CSM 2010.
- Ranking high and very high on influencing the decision to participate in the event include: the trade show offering the most efficient way for buyers and sellers to meet; a variety of networking opportunities to meet peers in the industry; all the leading industry players are gathered in one place; and participation in the event offers the best return on investment.
